Mim Kowner (they/them, she/her) is an emerging multidisciplinary artist in their final semester studying Fine Arts at Curtin University in Boorloo (Perth) Western Australia.

Born in Switzerland, with a background in graphic design and ceramics, their practice spans across painting, sculpture, installation, video, printmaking and drawing.

As a dual citizen Kowner’s work explored notions of identity with a particular interest in gender related inquiries, as well as intersections between human beings, objects and materiality.

Their most recent body of work drew parallels between feminism and the power of sport to empower female athletes.
